Mom: “I totally loved that article about your teenagers being aliens.”
Me: “Nah, you old people are the aliens.”
Dad: “We used to call that the generation gap!”
Mom: “I think we still do!”
Will: “Umm… no. We don’t.”
Dad: “Everyone knows how to use instant messaging.” (He’s a little hard of hearing.)
Mom: “I don’t.”
Me: “Duh… you can’t even turn on your computer.”
Mom: “Those chat things are so annoying anyway.”
Me: “CHAT?!”
Mom: “Google Chat!” (looks at Dad) “You know… hehe!”
Me: “You mean Gmail Talk? She knows how to Gmail Talk?”
Dad: “Hahahaha!”
Mom: “Well YEAH after I figured out how to press send… THERE IS NO SEND BUTTON! So I go to all the menus, like Options, Inbox, EVERYthing!”
Dad: “And she emails me asking me how to send the message.”
Mom: “WELL HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO KNOW YOU JUST PRESS ENTER!?”
